Library

The durable system of record for what you know.

A Library is a private, durable workspace for the information you own. Pick a profile to shape its vocabulary and structure, then keep everything inspectable and portable.

What you can do

Structure that survives the tool you used last year.

Eight starting profiles

Research Project, Investing, Writing & Publishing, Learning, Project / Company, Competitive Intelligence, Personal Archive, or a blank canvas.

Nested folders

Build a tree that matches the work. Subfolders inherit their parent's profile, so vocabulary stays consistent all the way down.

Types and tags

Every source carries a fixed type — document, web page, transcript, dataset, and more — plus reusable tags you define.

Maintained context

Prism keeps a folder-level summary current as content changes, and flags it when new material has landed since the last update.

Semantic and lexical search

Find things by meaning or by exact phrase. Sources stay searchable by metadata and text even when semantic indexing is paused.

Private by default

Nothing leaves a Library until you authorize a connection or publish it yourself. Content stays inspectable and exportable.

Switching a Library's profile changes presentation and vocabulary. It never moves, deletes, or rewrites stored content.

Start shaped, not empty

Pick the profile that matches the work.

A profile sets a Library's vocabulary, quick actions, suggested inputs, and the workflows recommended to your AI clients. Investing is the deepest specialist profile, but it is one of eight — not the default.

  • Profiles are versioned system presets, not one-off templates.
  • Subfolders inherit an effective profile from their parent.
  • You can switch a profile at any time without touching content.

Organized for retrieval

Structure that an agent can actually use.

Types and tags are not decoration. They are what lets an authorized AI client narrow a search to the right slice of a Library instead of dredging everything you have ever saved.

  • Fixed source types cover documents, web pages, notes, email, transcripts, datasets, and media.
  • Investing Libraries add filings, earnings calls, and research reports.
  • Relationships between items are first-class and appear in the Knowledge Graph.
